A classic yoga sequence, Sun Salutations are great for warming up your body. Here’s a simple flow:
- Start standing with your feet together and arms by your sides (Tadasana).
- Inhale, lift your arms overhead.
- Exhale, fold forward, bringing your hands to the mat.
- Inhale, step or jump back into a plank position.
- Exhale, lower down to the mat, coming into Chaturanga.
- Inhale, lift into Upward-Facing Dog or Cobra Pose.
- Exhale, push back to Downward-Facing Dog.
- Hold for a few breaths, then step forward to your hands and slowly rise to stand again.
